On July 8, 2024, a segment titled “The People Are Leaving the Country in DROVES!” was released on the YouTube channel of the Belarusian state news agency. \/\/ Latvia: the ban on Russian, terrible roads, and the authorities. The video garnered over 500,000 views.<\/p>\n

It stated:<\/p>\n

Just so you know, the roads in Belarus are ten times better. I don’t know if you complain about your roads or not, but I am having such a pleasure right now driving around Minsk; it’s simply bliss. First of all, there are no traffic jams; I am always moving, always driving. The roads here are wide and clean. Sure, there are some repairs here and there, but you can get through everywhere. My goodness, in Belarus, which, according to our rulers, is a dictatorship and everything is bad, this poor country\u2014guys, you are very far from Belarus and its roads. Because maybe outside the city, yes. But I am talking about Minsk. The roads in Minsk are magnificent compared to those in Riga. Simply magnificent.<\/p>\n

A question for the Belarusian opposition: tell me, Belarusian opposition members, you talk about freedom, about speech back and forth. Fine, I understand you. As far as I can see, you don’t need to fight to ensure that your children are not taught pornography, that your children are not told they can be a boy-girl, that they can choose any gender they want. Your children are not being taught masturbation in school, how to satisfy each other, and so on. All in that spirit. How boys can engage in intimate matters with boys, how girls can do the same with girls, and so forth. You don’t need to go out and defend the most ordinary traditional family values and protect your children from all the corrupting influences they want to implant in your children’s minds. Your government, your state is already doing that for you. And you don’t need to fight for your children’s rights and their protection. Your state is already taking care of that. You just don’t appreciate it or understand it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
